Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor, BWV 582

One of the greatest works in the organ literature. A majestic passacaglia theme in the pedals supports twenty variations of increasing complexity, followed by a double fugue that transforms the passacaglia theme. The work is a supreme test of pedal technique and musical architecture.
